Students and teachers of International Maarif Schools proudly celebrated Somali Flag Day with great enthusiasm. The event, organized to honor Somalia’s symbol of independence, unity, and peace, was enriched with student-led performances and creative presentations.
Throughout the celebration, students carried the Somali flag, symbolizing the blue sky and peace, with pride and respect. The program emphasized that the five-pointed white star represents the unity and solidarity of the Somali people.
At the end of the ceremony, students and teachers took flag-themed group photos, capturing the spirit of the occasion. This meaningful day once again reminded everyone of Somalia’s struggle for independence and strengthened students’ awareness of their national identity.
