As the Turkish Maarif Foundation Somalia Schools, we are delighted to take a new step in our educational journey by sharing the first issue of our school bulletin, which brings together our students’ achievements, our teachers’ devoted efforts, and our cultural activities. In this first issue, we have gathered our educational initiatives that build bridges between Somalia and Türkiye, our values-based educational approach, and the diverse activities taking place in our schools.
The articles, projects, and events featured in our bulletin reflect the essence of the educational efforts we carry out in Somalia. As the Maarif family, our goal is not only to achieve academic success but also to nurture exemplary individuals in moral values, cultural awareness, and human development. On every page of this bulletin, you will find traces of our dedication to expanding access to knowledge, inspiring young minds, and raising individuals who look to the future with hope. Each page bears witness to the meaningful steps of Maarif’s educational journey in Somalia.
In the foreword of the bulletin, our Country Representative, Selçuk Baş, expressed his wish for this publication to serve as a source of inspiration for all members of the Somali Maarif Foundation family. He emphasized that the Maarif Somalia Schools will continue to work with determination to enhance the quality of education, strengthen cultural ties, and proudly uphold the flag of Maarif across Somalia.
As the Turkish Maarif Foundation Somalia Schools, we consider every effort that contributes to our students’ academic, cultural, and moral development as an investment in the future. We hope that this first bulletin opens a new chapter both within the Maarif family and in the bridge of friendship between Somalia and Türkiye, and we wish all our readers an enjoyable read.
